		<description>It&#039;s one of those weird sort of findings that really make you scratch your head a bit.  You never think that bacteria would affect art (unless you soaked it in a vat of E. coli) but there you have it.  And not only that, but they found out both the species of the bacteria and the reddish pigment that was doing the damage.
